Team Championship

In recent seasons, team play has become an essential part of our community. Each team incorporates managers of small groups within our community. Leadership, communication and team work have been exercised extensively and the deserving team has won the title. This season our teams will play for the Team Championship glory.

  • Each team will consist of 15 managers and they are classified based on their preferred position.

  • 2 Goalkeeper | 5 Defenders | 5 Midfielders | 3 Forwards

  • Each team will elect one Captain and one Vice-captain to manage the team during the tournament.

  • These teams will play in the League come knockout format. Final three teams will be rewarded.

  • Two teams will face each other in every match.

  • Match result is based on the Match Point scored by each team.

  • Match Point is sum of total GWP of Playing XI managers after deducting transfer hit points.

  • The GWP of the highest scoring manager will be doubled for calculating Match Point.

  • Playing XI is decided based on best possible formation under below rule;

    • Only 1 goalkeeper,

    • At least 3 defenders and at most 5 defenders,

    • At least 2 midfielders and at most 5 midfielders,

    • At least 1 forward and at most 3 forwards

  • Man of the Match: Highest scoring manager from the winning team in every match will be rewarded.

League Round

  • 12 Teams divided into 2 Leagues; League One (L1) and League Two (L2).

  • 6 Teams in each league. League entries are decided from a live draw before the start of the season.

  • Each team will play two matches against their opponent team in respective leagues.

  • Opponents for all 60 matches are generated randomly before the start of the season.

  • Six Matches will be played on GW01 & GW27, whereas, two Matches every game week from GW02-GW25.

  • 2 points awarded for a win and 1 point for a draw.

  • Teams are then ranked based on points earned in their matches.

Knock-Out Round

  • The KO Round will accommodate 10 Teams – Top 5 teams from each League.

  • Opponents for the first round will be decided based on their rank in the league round.

  • 4th & 5th ranked teams in respective leagues will face each other GW28-29. Two winners progress to QF.

  • Winner will be decided based on match points from two Gameweeks (Except Third place match and final).

  • The winner (the team with the highest match point) will progress to the next round.

  • Top three Teams will be rewarded.
